NEWS ON THE LOTUS WORLD
Hi friends ! Great news about the realization of the new album ! The last thursday we put basis for a new song, and we'll continue to work about that. We have more songs almost ready for the recording we'll do soon, and the last song is another piece on the next The Lotus-puzzle. Another puzzle coloured by The Lotus colours, and we are very happy and proud of our work... New sound, new choises, new testings, characterized by our own kind of music. So, we are sure you'll enjoy it !

GRAZIE AL REGNO UNITO
Ciao amici. Siamo i the lotus e scriviamo noi stessi, di nostro pugno, a un mese abbondante dalla partenza. Cogliamo l'occasione per ringraziare Cristiana, Serena e Benedetta, le nostre Lotus-Girls del Press Office, che ci hanno dato una grande mano nell'aggiornarvi costantemente sui concerti in Gran Bretagna.
E' stata una bellissima esperienza, che ci ha fatto veramente capire cosa vuol dire SUONARE DAVANTI A UN VERO PUBBLICO E VENIR APPREZZATI PER L'ARTE CHE SI ESPRIME. La cultura locale è diversa, senza voler fare attacchi diretti all'Italia. La sostanziale differenza tra i due Paesi, però, ci permette di fare maggior esperienza consentendo così alla band di proseguire rapidamente il suo processo di crescita.
Ringraziamo di cuore tutti i fans che ci hanno supportato con trasporto durante il Forgotten Tour UK 2011, e ogni città inglese che ci ha visto calcare i SUOI palchi. Soprattutto Hull, Weymouth, Neath, Llanelli, Telford, Stoke e Newcastle. Un pezzo di cuore rimane anche alle band con le quali abbiamo suonato: gli Achilla, con i quali abbiamo vissuto momenti bellissimi e divertenti, senza trascurare l'onore di suonare con uno dei chitarristi che riteniamo tra i migliori in circolazione, Daniele Panza...ringraziamo anche i Cypher 16, che hanno diviso con noi il palco a Weymouth, ed i Damaged Gods, fantastico duo con il quale abbiamo suonato a Telford.
Vorrete sapere le nostre impressioni al rientro in Italia....beh, contrastanti. Contenti nel rivedere i nostri cari, gli amici e le rispettive fidanzate ma, le sensazioni lasciate nel Regno Unito, sono ben vive, e lo rimarranno per molto tempo. E' nostra intenzione tornare in UK a breve, magari con il nuovo album, al quale stiamo lavorando ora.
Ultimi in questo post ma non ultimi nella realtà: grazie al manager Gavriel Pardi ed al sound engineer Max D'Addezio, che ci hanno aiutato in modo significativo e determinante in questo ultimo mese.
Concludiamo urlanda, per l'ennesima volta, GRAZIE a tutti, e vi diamo appuntamento alle prossime avventure della The Lotus Crew.

The Lotus shining at The Green Star in Stoke-On-Trent
Una delle migliori serate di questo meraviglioso UK Tour, quella appena trascorsa dai The Lotus a Stoke-On-Trent, presso il The Green Star.
Location bellissima e grande successo, pubblico numeroso ed estasiato dalla musica e dalla padronanza del palco dei nostri artisti, anche questa volta headliners.
Tanti i fans, ma soprattutto le fans, che hanno acclamato la band prima, durante e dopo il concerto, sempre lodevole grazie all'insostituibile contributo della Crew, manager/sound engineer e responsabile tecnico, rispettivamente Gavrièl Pardi e Massimo Di Addezio.
Grandi complimenti ricevuti anche dallo stupefatto gestore del locale, che sembra essersi innamorato della musica dei The Lotus.
Ma il Tour prosegue, siamo al principio di una nuova settimana e ci aspettiamo ancora tante sorprese!

So many fans, more girls than ever, who cheered the band before, during and after the concert, thanks to the great contribution of the entire Crew, the manager/sound engineer and technical manager Gavrièl Pardi and Massimo DiAddezio.
Great compliments also by the amazed club owner, who felt in love with the The Lotus sound.
But the tour continues, we are at the beginning of a new week and we are expecting many more surprises and emotions!

The Lotus UK Tour: yesterday evening in Llanelli, at The Mason's Arms
Sembra sia scoppiato l'amore tra i The Lotus e il Galles: ieri sera bagno di folla al The Mason's Arms di Llanelli, dove hanno reincontrato amici e fans già conosciuti a Neath.
Pieno il locale, dove hanno offerto 30 minuti di vera musica rock, circondati dall'entusiasmo dei presenti che, a fine esibizione, hanno preteso autografi su bacchette di batteria, chiedendo a gran voce una ulteriore esibizione, in futuro.
E i The Lotus sono attualmente in viaggio verso Coalville, in Leicestershire, dove calcheranno il palco del The Vic Bikers Pub già questa sera!
Un buon sabato a tutti i followers, vi aspettiamo qui già domani!

It seems there is a hot crush between The Lotus and Wales: huge crowd last night, at The Mason's Arms in Llanelli, where they also met again friends and fans known in Neath.
The club was filled out: they offered 30 minutes of pure rock music, surrounded by the enthusiasm of the incredible public that, at the end of performance, asked for autographs on drum sticks and for further gigs in the future.
And The Lotus are currently traveling to Coalville in Leicestershire,where they will absolutely rock the stage at The Vic Bikers Pub tonight!
Have an amazing saturday, folks! We expect you here, tomorrow!

Yesterday night at The King Billy in Northampton
Continua il flusso dei successi dei The Lotus con la tappa di ieri sera a Northampton! Il The King Billy si è rivelato un locale vivo e molto piacevole, frequentato anche da bikers e immerso in una suggestiva atmosfera hard rock anni '80 e '90!
Come sempre, grande coinvolgimento da parte del pubblico e notevole prestazione anche dal punto di vista scenico!
Al termine della performance i ragazzi hanno salutato gli amici Achilla con un party, celebrando così la terza -e ultima, per questo tour- tappa condivisa: ci auguriamo che possano incontrarsi nuovamente, nella vita come sul palco, per mostrare ancora le stesse grandi passioni che hanno riversato nei rispettivi tour.
Chi conosce il loro desiderio di suonare e la felicità con la quale accolgono nuovi progetti, può immaginare benissimo con quale entusiasmo stiano già pensando a futuri progetti comuni.
Con questo spirito attendiamo le cronache del prossimo evento, questa sera, al The Masons Arms di Llanelli, in Galles!

The Lotus flown of success is continuing with the last night venue in Northampton! The King Billy has showed his most active and positive side, including friendly bikers and a charming 80s - 90s hard rock atmosphere !
As always, great involvement and appreciations from the public for the remarkable performance!
After the live the boys said goodbye to their friends Achilla with a farewell party, celebrating their third -and last, for this tour- shared stage: we hope that they might meet again soon, in life as on stage, to show then the same awesome passion they both have poured into their tour.
Who knows their desire to play and the happiness with which they welcome new projects, could easily imagine how enthusiastically they're already thinking about future common projects.
With this spirit we wait for news from the next event, this evening at The Masons Arms in Llanelli, Wales!

The Lotus live in Kettering: a night at the Watercress Harry's
Soggiorno sicuramente particolare quello dei The Lotus a Kettering, dove sono stati invitati a una jam session e hanno avuto modo di conoscere una porzione di popolazione locale eccentrica ed eclettica.
Sul palco del Watercress Harry's, come da programma, si sono nuovamente incontrati con gli Achilla, e come sempre fantastica è risultata l'esecuzione dei brani, per un live permeato dal più puro divertimento.

A short but particular sojour, the one that of The Lotus had in Kettering, where they were invited to a jam session in the afternoon and were given the opportunity to meet a eccentric and eclectic portion of the local population.
On stage at the Harry's watercress, as planned, they met again Achilla, and as always the performance resulted fantastic, for a live permeated by great fun.

Un amore corrisposto quello tra i The Lotus e l'Hollywood & Vine di Hull!
Si sono esibiti con gli Achilla, band inglese,con i quali hanno stretto un bellissimo e proficuo rapporto: condivideranno il palco anche a Kettering e a Northampton. Ma la serata ad Hull è stata già un successo: un concerto intenso e impeccabile, risultato tanto gradito da convincere il manager del locale a fissare immediatamente un'altra data per una ulteriore performance dei nostri diletti The Lotus: il Forgotten Tour si allunga ulteriormente, quindi, con la nuova data di Hull, fissata per il 2 Aprile!

But the evening at Hull was already, as expected, a success: an intense and flawless concert, resulted so pleasing to convince the venue manager to fix immediately another date for a second performance of our beloved The Lotus: The Forgotten Tour is extending further, then, with the new date of Hull, scheduled for April 2!

The Hope for Heroes at The Riverside in Selby
Questa volta headliner, con nove gruppi in apertura, immersi in atmosfere decisamente metal, i The Lotus hanno riscosso grandissimo successo anche al The Riverside, che ospitava l'iniziativa "Help for Heroes".
Apprezzatissimi gli assoli di basso e batteria, come l'intero live: anche questa volta molti cd venduti (e offerti)!
E' stato loro chiesto di tornare a suonare qui, così come a Neath e a Weymouth, e ci auguriamo che le altre tappe del Tour proseguano con lo stesso entusiasmo e mietendo sempre più consensi.
E oggi, dopo tre giorni di serate ininterrotte, li aspetta una giornata di meritato riposo e di viaggio verso la città di Hull, dove avrà luogo il live di domani! A presto con i prossimi aggiornamenti!!

Headliner this time, with nine opening bands, plunged in an undoubtedly metal atmosphere, the The Lotus enjoyed a great night at The Riverside in Selby, which hosted the "Help for Heroes" effort.
Much appreciated were the bass and drum solos, as the whole live was, as we can see from the further sold (or simply given) CDs! They were asked to come and play here again, as they were in Neath and Weymouth, and we hope that the other steps of this tour will go on showing the same enthusiasm, claiming more and more success and appreciation!
And today, after three days of performances nonstop, some well-deserved rest is in store for them, and one more travel to the city of Hull, where they're going to perform tomorrow night! See you here soon, with some more interesting news!!

The Lotus UK Tour: first days and the Axe and Cleaver night!
Entusiasti e galvanizzati dal viaggio i The Lotus sbarcano in Gran Bretagna con il loro carico di energia e musica; ebbene si, nonostante li avessimo dati per dispersi in Francia, sono riusciti a raggiungere per tempo e senza problemi l'accogliente cittadina sede del primo evento di questo attesissimo tour: Boston.
Per nulla intimoriti dal lungo viaggio, dalla nebbia e dalle autostrade francesi, hanno dimostrato ancora una volta quanto la loro coesione e il loro incredibile spirito possano ovviare a ogni sorta di problematica tecnico/logistica/umano/strumentale.
Per questo non si può non ringraziare la presenza del manager Gavrièl Pardi e del tecnico Massimo Di Addezio che contribuiscono in maniera fondamentale alla riuscita di questa esperienza.
Positivamente colpiti e soddisfatti dalla prima serata a Boston, i ragazzi ringraziano lo staff locale che ha permesso un'ottima performance gratificante sia a livello umano che artistico: l'Axe and Cleaver non sarà certamente dimenticato!

Galvanized and amazed by the long journey The Lotus finally landed in Britain with their load of energy and music; they managed to reach on time and without problems the first venue of this highly anticipated tour: Boston.
Not at all intimidated by thousands of kilometers, fog and french motorways, the guys have shown once again how their cohesion and their incredible spirit can overcome all sorts of technical / logistic / human / instrumental issues:
this is possible obviously thanks to the presence -and irreplaceable help- of their manager Gavrièl Pardi and their technician Massimo Di Addezio, significantly contributing to the success of this experience.
Impressed and happy with their first evening in Boston, the boys would like to thank again the local staff that has allowed such a good performance both in human and artistic ways: the Axe and Cleaver will certainly not be forgotten!

WE ARE READY FOR THE UK
Hi friends. We will move to UK on March 13th for the beginning of FORGOTTEN TOUR 2011, and we'll have the first show on March 15th at AXE AND CLEAVER, in Boston. We are so excited about this tour, because we know that a lot of doors could be opened after that. We are also very anxious to know english fans....after we knew american fans in 2007.
UK it's a very great opportunity for us to make known our music, because here in Italy it's very hard to be appreciated if you play your own songs. A very sad truth.
But we are sure we'll amuse all people will come to our shows, but we want you'll ready for fuckin' rock with hands up.

WORK IN PROGRESS
Ciao amici! Siamo reduci da una serata di prove, che tra l'altro sono state molto fruttuose. Stiamo ultimando la preparazione degli shows che ci permetteranno di uscire dall'italia e di approdare in una nazione ricca di tradizione musicale come l'Inghilterra, e vogliamo arrivarci preparati per coinvolgere nel miglior modo possibile il pubblico, mostrando al massimo il nostro potenziale ed il nostro acting: lavorare ai dettagli e alle idee che possono renderlo possibile è sempre una cosa bellissima, soprattutto perchè viviamo in una nazione che priva noi musicisti della possibilita' di esibirci in live in modo continuativo, rallentando la crescita delle band. Cercheremo di esportare il metal italiano nel migliori dei modi, così come sono riusciti ad imporsi, con generi musicali diversi, i Rhapsody Of Fire e i Lacuna Coil. Il planning con le date degli shows verrà completato a breve, e potrete seguire gli aggiornamenti sul nostro sito www.the-lotus.com.
Vi chiediamo di aiutarci a promuovere la tournèe in modo di rendere il tour un evento di maggiore importanza, anche in rappresentanza della nostra nazione.

Hello friends! We just had rehearsals night, which also has been very fruitful. We are completing the preparation of the shows that will allow us to leave Italy and arrive in a country rich in musical tradition, as England is, and we want to be prepared at our best to involve and charme the public, showing up our potential and our acting: we are working for details and ideas that can make this possible and real and this is always a wonderful and challenging thing, especially because we are actually experiencing a sort of musical stand-by era, in our Country, where band's growth is really hard. We will try to export the Italian metal in the best possible way, as Rhapsody Of Fire and Lacuna Coil did,with different genres of music. The complete schedule with all the shows dates will be posted shortly, and you can follow the updates on our website www.the-lotus.com.
